Latisse® is the latest product for luscious eyelashes. TV spots with spokesperson Brooke Shields have been hitting the airwaves and causing a buzz. The latest trend is to have long thick eyelashes and this product promotes growth in as little as 8 weeks. The product utilizes a prescription solution for lack of eyelashes called hypotricosis. Patients are loving the results of Latisse®. Most patients see results in as little as 4 weeks. Patients have had only a few complaints on the use of the product mostly about having to apply on a daily basis. The other complaint is price especially now with economic issues this seems to be some concern. Many patients love the results but since this is a product that needs to be used on continual bases some patients are a little hesitant in the beginning. Most patients after using Latisse® and seeing the results are hooked. Patients overall have been pleased with the results. Latisse® looks to be a hit so far providing women with a solution to a common problem while at the same time providing a product that is offering an option over eyelash extensions.
