Chemical peels have evolved over the years creating a vast number of peeling agents for skin issues such as acne, melasma, and sun-damage. Many of the newer peels are combining such peeling agents as Salicylic and TCA to treat numerous skin issues with minimal down-time. One of the latest peels to arrive is the Vi peel. This peel utilizes several ingredients and is showing promising results. The peel contains TCA, Salicylic  Acid, Phenol, and Retinoic Acid. The Vi peel is great for all skin types and can be used on other areas of the body such as the neck, chest, and hands. It can be done as often as every 2 weeks depending on the severity of damage to the skin. These peels will start to work (peeling process) within 3 to 4 days. Main after care as with all chemical exfoliation is UVA/UVB sunscreen. The Vi peel works on all skin types and is beneficial for sun-damage, acne, and as an anti-aging treatment. For maximum results a series is recommended along with an occasional maintenance treatment. This is a fantastic treatment and results can be seen in as little as a week.
